How to Choose, Preview, and Customize Popup Templates
Campaign Builder / Sky Campaigns includes popup templates that you can use when creating a campaign.
Templates control the main layout and style of your popup. You can customize the text, colors, image, and form options based on the selected template.
Where to Choose a Template
To choose a popup template:
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Go to Campaigns > Campaigns.
- Create a new campaign or edit an existing campaign.
- Open the template section in the campaign editor.
- Select the template you want to use.
- Customize the available template fields.
- Save the campaign.
Free Popup Templates
The free plugin includes the following core templates:
- Classic Clean.
- Bold Announcement.
- Minimal Slide-in.
- Dark Luxury.

These templates are available in the free version of Campaign Builder / Sky Campaigns.

Pro templates are available only when Sky Campaigns Pro is installed, active, and connected with a valid license key.
If Pro is not active or licensed, Pro templates may appear as upgrade prompts.
Preview a Template
Each template includes a Preview button in the campaign editor.
Use the preview option before publishing your campaign.
The preview uses your current editor values, including:
- Headline.
- Sub-headline.
- Button text.
- Colors.
- Image URL.
- First name field setting.
- Optional note.
- Privacy or terms agreement checkbox.
Customize Template Content
Template customization fields depend on the template you select.
Common customization fields include:
- Headline.
- Sub-headline.
- Button text.
- Show name field.
- Background color.
- Accent color.
- Image URL.
Some templates do not use every field.
For example, the Minimal Slide-in template does not use a sub-headline. The Split Panel template can use the image URL for its left panel.
Add an Image to a Template
Some templates support images.
You can add an image in two ways:
- Paste the image URL manually.
- Click Select to choose an image from the WordPress Media Library.
The image field is optional. If you leave it empty, the template will use its default visual style.
Before Publishing
Before making the campaign active, check the template preview and confirm that:
- The headline is correct.
- The button text is clear.
- The colors match your site.
- The image displays correctly, if used.
- The form fields look correct.
- The optional note or privacy checkbox appears correctly, if enabled.
