How to Schedule Popup Campaigns

How to Schedule Popup Campaigns

Popup scheduling lets you control when a popup campaign is allowed to run.

This feature is available in Sky Campaigns Pro.

What Popup Scheduling Does

Scheduling allows you to set specific dates, times, and weekdays for a popup campaign.

The campaign can only appear when the schedule conditions match.

Use scheduling for limited-time campaigns, seasonal offers, promotions, announcements, or timed marketing messages.

Requirements

Popup scheduling is available only when:

  • The free Campaign Builder / Sky Campaigns plugin is active.
  • Sky Campaigns Pro is installed and active.
  • Your Pro license is active and valid.

If Pro is not active or licensed, scheduling controls remain locked.

Enable Popup Scheduling

To schedule a popup campaign:

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Go to Campaigns > Campaigns.
  3. Create a new campaign or edit an existing campaign.
  4. Enable Popup Scheduling.
  5. Add one or more schedules.
  6. Set the start date and time.
  7. Set the end date and time.
  8. Select the active weekdays.
  9. Save the campaign.

Start Date and End Date

The start date and time control when the schedule begins.

The end date and time control when the schedule stops.

The popup can only appear between the selected start and end date/time.

Active Weekdays

Active weekdays let you choose which days of the week the campaign can run.

For example, you can run a campaign only on weekdays, only on weekends, or only on selected days.

Multiple Schedules

You can add more than one schedule to a campaign.

If multiple schedules exist, the campaign can show when any schedule matches.

Use multiple schedules when you want the same campaign to run during different time periods.

If the Popup Does Not Appear

If a scheduled popup does not show, check the following:

  • The campaign is active.
  • Popup scheduling is enabled.
  • The current date and time match the schedule.
  • The current weekday is selected.
  • The schedule has not ended.
  • The display rules match the current page.
  • The popup trigger condition has been met.
  • Frequency rules are not blocking the popup.

Important Note

Scheduling works together with campaign status, display rules, triggers, and frequency rules.

A scheduled popup will only appear when all campaign conditions are met.
